Betty Boop in Ha! Ha! Ha!, 1934

I have to get my teeth cleaned and checked. Does your dentist use nitrous oxide like Betty Boop?

Perhaps, as this cartoon suggests, our national malaise would lift with a trip to the dentist.

Here we go again. I did go to the dentist today for a cleaning. No laughing gas though. She did sell me a $75 toothbrush however. I just spent an hour trying to figure out the instruction manual. An hour to learn how to use a toothbrush and i'm still unsure!

Loved the Betty Boop movie.
