Sandra Bullock kicks some ass

Generally I'm not an advocate of violence. I'm sure we can talk this thing out, and all that. But once in a while, someone needs a good ol' fashioned ass kicking. I'm not naming names, but I'm convinced by this scene from the late, great, one-season-wonder satire, "Action," that Sandra Bullock is the woman for the job. I have faith in you Sandy. You're big enough to do this scene (and do it excellently) and you're big enough to get through life's crappy traumas. By kicking some. Serious. Ass.

When was this pilot made?

"Action" was a series on Fox that ran for one season in 1999 before it got cancelled. You can see it on DVD and I recommend you do so. It went out with a whimper but was one of the most scathing inside-views of blockbuster filmmaking ever. That's why it was cancelled--duh. I had my Hollywood source watch it even though he's more of a gentle soul than I. He said the reality is much worse than the series, which makes me realize there *are* some things you can't show in the name of entertainment. One of my favorite TV shows ever!
